yesterday we went to rottnest island on our friends 38ft brand spanking new boat!! what a treat. the trip over was a bit bouncy but nowhere near as bad as when we went over on the ferry last year!! we had lunch at the quokka arms which has been refurbished and then we tootled around to parrikeet bay and relaxed while the boys did a bit of exploring and splashing around. the water was so warm, and i was very tempted to go in myself! looking at some of the photos you would think it was somewhere in the mediterranean! what a lovely day - thanks to our dear friends rainer and jan.
